Malicious application alert! Antispyware Soft: NOT to be trusted!

Viruses are ever-evolving and ever-increasing. Fact! How do I know this? Well, in the last few hours alone, I have stumbled across three new PC parasites, and this is the latest: Antispyware Soft.

So, what is Antispyware Soft?

Antispyware Soft, also known as AntispywareSoft and Antispyware Soft Demo, is the latest rogue optimization software that was designed to display false and exaggerated results, as a means to coerce a user into purchasing the full version software. Having hailed from the rogueware family associated with: Antivirus Soft and Antivirus Suite, this parasite is no stranger to malicious tactics.

Antispyware Soft is installed under deceptive pretences, infiltrating the user’s PC without their approval or knowledge. Antispyware Soft is advertised through the use of advertisements that pretend to be online scanners.

Antispyware Soft then prompts the user to download and install Antispyware Soft, so as to attempt to create a solution and fix the user’s computer. These scanners, though, are also scams and have no way of knowing what is running on your computer and thus should actually be ignored.

Control Commander: commanding only dubious activity. Read more…

It is not yet safe for us computer users! There is a war to fight, and as the rogue security tools mount and grow daily, along with malware and infections of all sorts – one needs to be sure which application is on which side? The legitimate security side versus the rogue and dubious natured side?

Well, let me attempt to make that discernment a little easier for you.

Control Commander is one of the many rogue and dubious applications, which is batting for the rogue team – and scoring many hits!

Control Commander is the latest in scams! Pretending to be a legitimate spyware remover, this application has one primary objective: to coerce its victims into purchasing its licensed version.

Control Commander doesn’t deviate much from the typical and widely practiced tactics of PC parasite infiltration. Control Commander tends to use affiliated backdoor Trojan infections, or via a fake codec the user has installed onto their system.

Also referred to as ControlCommander, this fake security tool hails from the same rogue family as: Control Components a.k.a. CComponents

My Security Engine: the latest fake security tool. Read on…

Why is it that just when you thought you knew about all the villainous virus software out there, there is yet more to be learnt?

The worst bit of all seems to be that these malware applications are duping more and more individuals and convincing these unsuspecting internet users that the malware is in fact a security tool! All of which remains completely and utterly fictitious!

My Security Engine is no exception to this new phenomenon. My Security Engine tends to mislead computer users into downloading this bogus security program by redirecting the user’s web browser to its website, issues alert messages about a threat and forces the user to download and register the full My Security Engine application.

Chase the dream…untap!

Unblock – write now!
Right now – untap…

flow words – go…
come dripping steady
into my minds eye…

untap!

Can not
stay stagnant!
Must keep moving…

Onward – forward…

must not stop!

have to grow
more

And more still!!

Enlisted with such twisted resistance.
Persistance gnawing, clawing, crawling – sprawled out – detached
Self-scratched, attacked –
Etched in, tattooed labelling –
only fear insecure fear!

Stumble out, turn around
Gasp in the clean crispy clear.

Enlightenment! Aware. Secure. Love labour lends power leads –
Now just to tower above the hurt, deceit – mislead?
Not never!

Roads path: the one feared is the one left to conquer.
The way forward lies straight straight toward the edge.
Teetering abandon and reckless – restless traction no more.

Founded peace, and that is it.
Within and deep.
The dream I dream till the day its deemed for it to be so,
And then I’ll know!

Founded peace, and that is it!

CleanUp Antivirus: Only cleaning up unsuspecting users’ bank accounts…

CleanUp Antivirus is rather misleading, as its name leads one to believe that it will protect a computer system against threats and parasitic invasions, and clean the system of any unwanted applications.

Do NOT be fooled into thinking this application will assist you in maintaining the security and integrity of your system!

CleanUp Antivirus is a scam, and behaves like your typical rogue anti-spyware applications do.

Why is it that just when you thought you knew about all the miscreant malware software out there, there is yet more to come?

The worst bit of all seems to be that these malware applications are duping more and more individuals and convincing these unsuspecting internet users that the malware is in fact a security tool! All of which remains completely and utterly fictitious!

The latest PC threat is already tagging onto the 2011 bandwagon, and is doing the rounds quite steadily.

Anti-Virus 2011 is no exception to this new phenomenon.
